Road Rage Reduction

The Zebra has some interesting predictions on the future of transportation. The most interesting was the Flying Hotel Pods.

I have envisioned this as a car, but I may have to rethink because there are too too many factors involved in cars. I can name 10 pretty quick.

Legal: Cant sleep in the drivers seat.

Bathroom: Need a bathroom

Food: An autocar from Michigan to say DisneyWorld will take 24 hours, so you will need food stops perhaps

Safety: Once road pirates figure you are on your way to see Mickey, they will jam your signal and lead you to his storage unit!

I petitioned Google to create Uber-Air. Thats a different story…. It was mentioned briefly in some literature, but fighting with airlines is insurmountable I imagine. The amount of money cities have invested in big airports is gargantuan. And all the private interests involved would be voluminous.

But then came this thing. The https://www.opener.aero/ flying car. Twenty minutes of air time at 50 mph. Its stuck in pre-pre-pre production like all other flying monkey machines, but it is out there, none the less.

With that in play, the flying hotel seems suddenly more possible. Put some helium in the wings to make it faster, and voila, flying hotel. You can’t beat line of sight. Amazon knows they will never get a Roxo Robot thru road legistlation, so off they go to annoy us in the skies.

The new business growth of course will be Drodent removal as this guy files his papers of Incorporation with Angies List.

So, look up millennial! Your weed is coming in skyward!

Time to get my bitcoin working again…

Since 2005, Wikispeedia.org has been gathering speed limit information. We desperately need a 2020 sponsor. For only $120, we can run for a year! Possibly reduce road rage. For myself, I used to get a speeding ticket once a year, but since I installed my Speederaser (look on this site DIY) I haven’t gotten any tickets in 10 years, plus I have read 30 good books on tape! I am a better man all around, unless of course you are behind me….

Land of Lincoln

WTF, Illinois getting rid of 600 traffic cameras! We all hate these revenue generating Androids, creating road rage as we guess whether to run the yellow or not. Reading the article, it says it was a bipartison vote to remove the cameras. What the judge said is beautiful, I think …

Down the Charity Rabbit hole

A year back I found volunteermatch.org They let you post your charity. Most of the high schoolers doing service hours find us from volunteermatch. They seem alright until recently. I was so pleased that I donated to them at the bottom of there page. We are broke, but I took …

Daylight savings time is to drivers as y2k was to pilots.

Céline Vetter, a circadian sleep scientist [hmmmm, circadiummmm…] at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and senior author of the study, says that this research data paints a clear picture on the very tangible dangers of daylight saving time. “The acute adverse effects of DST on fatal traffic accident risk are real …
